Covid has put an end to the big white wedding in 2020, the year micro-wedding officially became fashionable. In 2021, the impact of the pandemic was still being felt, even among celebrities. Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez decided to have an intimate ceremony at home in L.A. (in front of the fireplace, to be exact). 'Emily in Paris' star Lily Collins exchanged wedding vows with Charlie McDowell in a small ceremony in Colorado, wearing an elegant dress with a veil by Ralph Lauren.

Ariana Grande tied the knot with real estate agent Dalton Gomez on May 15 against the gorgeous backdrop of her palatial home in Montecito. Vera Wang made all of the star's wedding dreams come true — fulfilling a promise she made to Grande at the Met Gala a few years ago. She designed a bespoke lily white silk charmeuse gown with an elegant low back. Grande, who has a thing for platform shoes, wore a silk Giuseppe Zanotti pair on her big day.

The always glamorous Lorraine Pascale was inspired by Vivienne Westwood for her eye-catching bridal look. The former Chanel model and British VOGUE editor walked down the aisle at Chelsea Town Hall in a form-fitting dress that had a cropped hem at the front and a sweeping train at the back - followed by a leisurely lunch at Beaverbrook.Pascale's daughter and actress Ella Balinska called it a day June said yes in an equally chic light blue suit by Alexander McQueen.

Model Jasmine Tookes didn't have to think twice about hiring her wedding look. She had only one designer in mind - Zuhair Murad. "I wanted him to design my dress from the moment I walked in his first couture show," she told VOGUE. The result? A timeless dress with a lace bodice and a spectacular 4.5 meter train. The September ceremony was as glamorous as the dress: Tookes married Juan David Borrero at a Catholic church in the heart of Quito, followed by a picturesque ceremony at a nearby hacienda.

Paris Hilton and Carter Reum hosted an extravagant celebration complete with floral arrangements and a five-tier cake at the former Bel Air estate of Paris' late grandfather, Barron Hilton. The dress didn't disappoint either: Paris wore a high-necked Oscar de la Renta gown that was dotted with floral appliques. "I love how it turned out. I wanted something that was timeless, elegant, chic and iconic and I'm so happy," she said. She donned a mini dress (also by Oscar de la Renta) for the evening's celebrations.

Lily Collins shared the happy news of her marriage via Instagram. "I have never wanted to be someone's someone as much as I have with you and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we were officially made to be together. I love you more than anything," she wrote newlyweds. In September this year, Uzo Aduba posted a selfie of herself and Sweeting on their wedding day and revealed more details during a live interview in November. "You can get by with a lot of Amazon and Etsy," she said, explaining that she "quietly and naturally kept our wedding small with our dearest and closest family and friends. It was amazing."
