Beware of dangerous WhatsApp message: competition promises free Adidas shoes

Dubious WhatsApp messages with a link should always be treated with great caution. We always recommend not clicking on links in unfamiliar messages. But the Adidas campaign spread like wildfire among WhatsApp users. Supposedly 3,000 pairs of shoes will be raffled off and you can still get a free copy.

Just recently we reported before dubious WhatsApp messages from friends or strangers that criminals used to steal your WhatsApp account. They asked you to provide a security code. In this case, your WhatsApp account is not at risk. For this, you should be lured into a trap with the Adidas message:
