Red Bull Hardline 2021 - Preview by Bernard Kerr Totally relaxed about monster jumps

The legendary Red Bull Hardline will take place again this weekend in Wales. Probably the most spectacular downhill course in the world has received some updates for 2021. Bernard Kerr takes you completely relaxed on a descent that will probably make one or the other spectator's hands sweaty.

You can also look forward to more material from the Hardline - because Johannes "Fischi" Fischbach is also taking part! He is on site and will bring us videos worth seeing in the coming days - the track walk and the first training rides will start this afternoon!

Do you agree that the jumps look pretty big?

Is this squeaking noise when you hit the big impacts the saddle that is rubbing against the tire?HarzEnduro,

Probably. But we've also learned lately that it's quite possible that rear tires rub against the seat tubes or that coil springs come into contact somewhere else on the frame. Who knows what other possibilities there are.Daniel_R_aus_S,

Joo is not uncommon with a DH frame and, for example, a very low saddle... But not bad either!stecko,

In some video they do a 'bottom out count' on a drop after the road gap. It's just klong-kliong-kling-... with maybe 1-2 exceptions, mad raven,

That may be true for the landing, but more so for the take-off. 😬I thought so too, the route is really nothing new for Bernard Kerr, which of course doesn't make it any less demanding. But Fischi made quite a big eye on his track walk and after the training also said that it was for the Head was the hardest training so far.Of course the ratios shift for people who jump like that, but it's still blatant because the consequences are simply different than daring to do the bigger drop for the first time at home (I dare say, even if it's because of course it can also rattle). I'm already looking forward to the weekend, are we actually broadcasting that? edt.: Jou, also the qualification:
